The Hamiltons seem to be the picture-perfect American family. They are hardworking community members; giving to their local charities, attending town hall meetings and always respectful of their neighbors...except for the fact that they usually end up killing them.

Different take on the genre. The "twist" is not only pretty straight forward, it's also straight up given away in the promotional material, and that twist is really the point of _The Hamiltons_. Even so, I was engaged, which is important. Acting could be better, same goes for the AV quality, but you get that with independant horror, and this I can handle. _Final rating:★★½ - Had a lot that appealed to me, didn’t quite work as a whole._
